Host of the Brain, Brawn and Business Podcast and Co-Founder of 4DFit, Oliver Berquez helps business owners, directors and senior level executives to be healthier, fitter and perform at their best.
What You'll Learn
Inspiration and ideas are never far away when you're an entrepreneur. The trouble people have is finding the energy and focus required to meet their aspirations.
Recently I was invited to be a guest on the Brain, Brawn and Business Podcast. The host of the show, Oliver Berquez is a tremendous guy with a zest for life and the energy to match. It got me thinking...
Why do people like Oliver seem to get a whole week out of a day while others barely get a day out of a week?
With that in mind, I invited Oliver to come on the show and explain how he does it. If you are one of those people who always feel like their playing catch up, despite how hard you seem to work, this episode is for you. It will help you improve your energy levels and get more done - one step at a time.
Oliver and I discuss:
Make it Almost Impossible to Fail
There were a number of really useful themes discussed on the podcast. Perhaps chief of them all is the notion of building rituals and habits that lead to success.
"That's all very well," you might say, but creating habits is hard. Think about those diets you went on or when you decided to cut things out of your life. Try as we might, bad habits are hard to break and good habits are hard to make.
The secret is to succeeding then is to make smaller changes, bed those in, then stack new changes on top to createing a bigger collective results. Essentially, go slower to go faster!
"Reduce the chance of failure." - Oliver Berquez teaches how to build momentum with habits that stick.
We'll be back next time on the Get Real About Business Podcast with more tips and strategies to help you grow your business. Next episode I'll be putting Steve Martile in the hot seat where we talk about finding clients using LinkedIn.
